We’ll ask you for:

1. a checklist of desired images that includes as much identifying information as possible. If known, the location or current owner of the original artwork is especially helpful.

2. publication specs (if known): title, author, retail price, print run, expected publication date, size and placement of each image, and type/territory of rights needed.

3. image submission guidelines and deadline.

4. budget parameters.

5. contact information for the author(s), editor(s), and any other relevant staff.

Our Process

You’ll receive:

1. high-resolution digital image files via Dropbox, WeTransfer, or your own submission system. Files will be consistently named according to your original list or preferred file naming conventions.

2. a Word document with complete catalog information, credit line, and copyright notice for each image, keyed to match each image’s filename.

3. an electronic set of all permission agreements and invoices, also coded to each image’s filename. A hard copy set will be provided upon request.
